Multi agency effort to ensure vibrancy of Manson
information released
The Manson Chamber of Commerce, Manson Community Council, and the Historic Manson Main Street Association are joining forces to guide a yearlong effort to arrive at a unified vision with action steps that the Manson Community can take together to ensure that the Manson community is vibrant for years to come.
Timi Starkwether, Executive Director of the Manson Chamber of Commerce, is one of the leaders looking to rely on community members and stakeholders to help craft Manson’s vision. Thanks to a secured grant from the Port of Chelan County, a contract has been entered into with Dan Eernissee, an experienced economic development and real estate consultant to facilitate the process on behalf of the community. Eernissee will hold regular meetings and also email stakeholders in the next few days to introduce himself and ask for responses to several questions.
Eernissee seeks to gather information about Manson from community residents. There will be options to be interviewed by phone or Zoom in order to add to written responses. As the year progresses, the hope is to hold public meetings to discuss what has been heard face-to-face. In the short term, community residents are encouraged to contact Eernissee directly with thoughts and also to be on the lookout for other opportunities for conversations at Manson One-Voice Coalition. The email contact is dan.eernissee@gmail.com.
In addition to Starkweather, others working on the One Voice Coalition are
- Kim Ustanik, President, Historic Manson Main Street Association and
- Chris Willoughby, Chairman, Manson Community Council.
