The Woods Family Music and Arts Grant is now accepting applications for its 2025 funding cycle, offering up to $5,000 in support for eligible nonprofits and public schools in Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties. The application period opens August 1 and closes September 30, 2025.
Established in 2011 to enhance the music and arts culture of the North Central Washington region, the Woods Family Music and Arts Fund provides both general operating and project-specific support to organizations working to expand arts access and cultural opportunities in the region.
“This grant represents our continued commitment to fostering the arts in our communities,” said Jennifer Short, Director of Community Grants. “We’re incredibly grateful to work with the Woods family and deeply appreciate their continued dedication to enhance arts access in our region.”
The Woods Family Music and Arts Grant prioritizes organizations that aim to increase equitable access to high-quality arts and culture for youth, expand and increase participation in arts and culture to underrepresented audiences, celebrate the rich and diverse cultural heritage of North Central Washington, and bring high-quality arts programs to the region.
Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, government entities (including schools), and religious organizations as defined by IRS Section 170(c)(1) or 170(b)(1)(A) located in Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties, excluding the Methow Valley. Organizations without 501(c)(3) status must secure a fiscal sponsor prior to application. Organizations are limited to one application per grant cycle, with schools restricted to one application per building plus one district-wide request. Grant funds must be expended within one year of the award date, and recipients will be required to submit final evaluation reports.
