Customer-owned utilities across the country highlight community benefits Oct. 6-13

 Information released by Chelan PUD

Essential services provided at cost by your neighbors – that’s something to celebrate and we are, Oct. 6-13. Chelan PUD joins customer-owned utilities across the nation each October to highlight the community benefits of public power.

Here, those benefits include low power rates, great parks, carbon-free energy and the chance to talk over issues at the grocery store or coffee shop with your locally elected PUD commissioners.

It also is the time we thank our customer-owners for staying connected and involved in important efforts like strategic planning. Join us to celebrate the benefits of public power in Chelan County.
