Parents, students, staff, and community members asked to share priorities and ideas through June 14, 2026
information released
The Manson School District Community Facilities Task Force (CFTF) today launched a community-wide ThoughtExchange survey, inviting parents, students, staff, and community members to help shape the District’s long-range capital plan. The survey opens immediately and will remain open through Sunday, June 14, 2026.
Convened earlier this spring, the CFTF brings together approximately 20 community volunteers charged with developing a recommendation to the District for a long-range capital programming plan. That recommendation, due to the District by February 22, 2027, and will address prioritized capital needs, safety, current educational standards, and stakeholder priorities.
The ThoughtExchange survey is a key step in the Task Force’s broader community engagement effort. Unlike a traditional questionnaire, ThoughtExchange is an interactive online platform that lets participants share their thoughts, read what others have submitted, and assign stars to the ideas they find most important. The result is a richer, more transparent picture of community priorities — one shaped by the community itself.
“We want this to feel like a conversation, not a checklist,” said Robin Bloch, Chair of the Community Facilities Task Force.
“Our schools serve every corner of our community, and the decisions ahead will shape Manson for decades,” Bloch continued. “ThoughtExchange gives every voice a chance to be heard — and just as importantly, it lets neighbors see and lift up the ideas that matter most to one another. We need parents, students, staff, and community members to weigh in. The more perspectives we gather, the stronger our recommendation will be.”
What Participants Will Be Asked
The survey invites broad input on facility priorities and needs across the District’s campuses. Participation is anonymous, takes about 10 minutes, and can be completed on a phone, tablet, or computer. Participants are also encouraged to return to the survey before it closes to read and star thoughts shared by others.
How to Participate
The survey is open now through Sunday, June 14, 2026. Community members can access it at: https://tejoin.com/scroll/423361003.
