Activities throughout the weekend with parade at 11:00 on Saturday

There will be a Grand Parade this year to mark the 100+1 Manson Apple Blossom Celebration. The Parade will kick off Saturday, May 8th, at 11:00 a.m. from Leffler Field and wind its way through main street in traditional fashion. Spectators are anticipated to be lining the street in appreciation and support of this long-standing celebration.

The Apple Blossom weekend begins with the Pageant where the Queens and princesses officially get crowned Friday night May 7th at 6 p.m. outside under a tent at the Northshore Bible Church. A box dinner of chicken salad croissant and flat apple pie will be available…made locally. Cost is $10 for anyone over 6–6 and under is $6 for chicken leg and flat apple pie.

Saturday will be a busy day with the Apple Blossom Pancake Breakfast from 6:30-10 am at the Northshore church under the tent. Volunteers will be serving the usual fare of $10 for above 6, with 6 and under at $5.

The fun run, former pig jig, starts at 8:30 am in front of the business center. Register online at runsignup.com/Race/WA/Manson/MasonAppleBlossom5K2K. More info at MansonAppleBlossom.com/events. Preregistration 7:30 am in person. The race is both real and virtual. Participants get a t-shirt.

The Undercover Quilt show will be at the Northshore church going until 3 pm. The cost of entry is a button. Come see the handiwork done during the pandemic.

The Grand Parade starts at 11 am in the usual spot but will not be the usual parade….come join in the fun…see all the returning royalty, cars, horses, and hopefully the Culls. At 1 pm there will be a Royal Tea hosted by our current Royalty for the past Royalty ONLY at the Northshore Church.

The Manson Apple Blossom Art Show is continuing this year during Apple Blossom Weekend, May 7 and 8, with community and student art displayed at Radiance Winery, in the former Allison’s building. All ages can view the art during business hours all weekend. Vote for your favorite piece!
