Dennis talks with a couple of “old goats” who make their living in the NBA

Steve and Dennis review the recent filings for local elections before chatting with a couple of former Chelan High School grads who now make their living in the NBA during this special Basketball edition of Making Waves.

Brooklyn Net and current NBA 3-point champion Joey “Buckets” Harris, a 2010 Chelan grad,  was recently in town for a few days and was honored with a community reception as well as being one of the presenters at the Lake Chelan Coaching Clinic. Joe shares his thoughts on coming home, sharing the NBA experience with another former Goat who was also coached by his Dad, playing with Lebron, and tells LakeChelanNow what it was like to win the All-Star weekend 3-point championship.

1998 Chelan graduate Phil Cullen led the Goats to a State Championship his senior year. He went on to play college basketball at the University of Utah and now works in the front office of the San Antonio Spurs. Cullen was also one of the presenters at the recent Coaching Clinic and was excited by the opportunity to return to Chelan. Phil talks with pride about what Joe Harris has accomplished, updates his family situation and tells about his role with the Spurs in the NBA as a front office executive.
