Lake Chelan Health was thrilled to honor and celebrate Dr. Waszkewitz on Thursday. It was an incredible gathering of patients, doctors, nurses, friends, hospital and clinic staff, as well as retired colleagues—all of whom had the privilege of working with Dr. Waszkewitz during his remarkable 37-year career in the Lake Chelan Valley.
Well known as “Dr. Wasz” or “Waszee,” he’s not ready to leave healthcare just yet. In fact, he plans to continue serving communities in the most remote corners of the world, with Alaska at the top of his list.
Thank you, Dr. Waszkewitz, for your unwavering dedication and care for the Lake Chelan Valley. You’ve left an indelible mark on all of us!
