Annual Car Show & Sailing Regatta on tap this weekend

You are invited to enjoy a weekend of cars in the park and sailboats on the lake as the 10th Annual Fall In Lake Chelan Car Show takes place at Riverwalk Park on Saturday while Saturday and Sunday will feature the 49th Annual Sailing Regatta on the waters of Lake Chelan.
The car show is sponsored by the Lake Chelan Car Club and is open to all years and types of cars and motorcycles. A number of awards will be handed out including Best of Show, Mayor’s Choice, a Top 10 and a special award trophy honoring the Car Club’s late member Phil Rock. The show will run from 9 am to 3:30 pm at Riverwalk Park with judging to begin at 11 am and the presentation of awards to take place at 3 pm.
This years Sailing Regatta, hosted by the Lake Chelan Sailing Association, will feature up to 3 races on Saturday and two on Sunday. The Saturday action is scheduled to start at 11 am with Sunday racing to begin at 10 am. The event is open to all sailboats and to sailors of all skill levels.
