As our season winds down the competition heats up. Twenty-two members and one guest hit the course for last Thursday’s competition called Ts and Fs (gross score of holes beginning with the letters “T” and “F” less ½ your handicap). Very odd and arbitrary but that’s golf in general and we do it every year.

  • Division 1: First place, Linda Hahn, 35.5. Second place was a tie between Barb Rayburn and April Talley, 36.5.
  • Division 2: First place, Jaclyn Starr-Evans, 32.5. Second place, Mary Jo DuRuz, 35.5.
  • Division 3: First place, Karen Erickson, 38.0. Second place, Nancy Parker, 40.5.

Jaclyn Starr-Evans (pictured) had a fantastic eagle on par 4 hole 12; that’s two under par. She holed out from the fairway and lots of screaming ensued. Debbie Honsberger had a chip-in on hole 4. Linda Hahn was the lone birdie girl on hole 7.

Next week we are holding our 50th Ladies Invitational Tournament. Continental breakfast and check-in downstairs at the clubhouse starting at 7:30 am and a shotgun start at 8:30 am.
