Coach Pleased with Team’s Hustle and Unselfish Play

Information provided by Coach Huddleston

The Chelan Lady Goats played at home Thursday against the Cle Elum-Roslyn Warriors from the SCAC League.

Chelan jumped out to a quick 7-0 lead that resulted in an immediate time out by the Warriors Coach. Cle Elum-Roslyn regrouped and quickly tied the game. Chelan picked up the pressure defense and forced a few more turnovers that led to easy baskets.

Booh Huddleston connected on 3 treys in the first quarter which led to Cle Elum-Roslyn extending their zone. This opened up the middle for more open looks from Lexie Gleasman and Katie Rainville. Molly Oswald and Matea Ivory slowed down the high octane motor of Warriors stand-out Grace Terrill.

The Lady Goats worked hard on the defensive side of the ball to create numerous turnovers and capitalize on those errors. They played unselfish and passed up good shots for great shots.

Booh Huddleston – 18 (5-treys)
