Registered Voters should have received their Ballots by now

Information compiled

Ballots for the August 6th primary special election should have arrived in your mailbox last week. If yours hasn’t arrive by today, Chelan County Auditor Skip Moore asks you to give them a call at 509-667-6808 to figure out why.

If you have not yet registered, you can register online through July 29th or in person at the County Auditors office in Wenatchee until 8 p.m. on election day.

Primary election voters will reduce the current three candidates for the City of Chelan Mayoral race down to two individuals who will face off in the general election. This ballot also includes levy requests from Link Transit and Rivercom.

The pre-stamped ballots can be mailed* or deposited in the drop off box in the alley behind Chelan City Hall. Preliminary election results will be posted online after 8 p.m. on August 6.

*Important reminder: If you choose to mail your ballot, please remember it must be postmarked on or before August 6th. The Auditor’s office urges voters to be cautious about when the post office closes or mail is picked up to ensure your vote can be properly recorded.
