Chelan shuts down Granger offense in 2nd Half

The Lady Goats traveled to Granger on December 1st to take on the Spartans. The Goats struggled in the first quarter and only tallied 11 points while giving up 12. Chelan picked up the defensive effort in the second quarter which helped the offense. They went into the locker room with a 28 to 22 lead.
The second half the Goats buckled down on defense and only allowed Granger 4 points in the third quarter. The girls finished strong in the 4th quarter to put the game out of reach with a final score of 51-32. The Lady Goats shared the ball well and ended the game with 3 girls in double figures; Katie Rainville (13), Matea Ivory (12), and Lexie Gleasman (10).
Chelan’s record is 2-0. The Lady Goats travel to Cashmere on Tuesday (12/4) for their league opener. The Cashmere-Chelan double header will be broadcast live on LakeChelanNow.com with play-by-play announcer, Dennis Rahm, at the microphone.
