information released

Cultura on the Lake returns to Historic Downtown Chelan on August 29 from 2pm-10pm, bringing together custom cars, live entertainment, local vendors, and community pride for one of the most vibrant events of the season.

Hosted by the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce, Cultura on the Lake celebrates the artistry, craftsmanship, and cultural traditions behind lowrider and Chicano car culture while creating a welcoming space for families, visitors, and car enthusiasts alike.

Throughout the evening, downtown Chelan will come alive with stunning vehicles, live music, dancing, great food, local businesses, and activities for all ages. Visitors can explore rows of beautifully customized cars while learning more about the history, creativity, and community that make this lowrider culture so unique.

More than just a car show, Cultura on the Lake is an opportunity to bring people together. The event highlights the diversity of the Lake Chelan Valley while celebrating the stories, traditions, and passions that strengthen our community.

“Cultura on the Lake is about more than the vehicles,” said Mike Steele, Executive Director of the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce.

“It’s about celebrating culture, creativity, family, and community. We are proud to host an event that welcomes people from throughout the region to experience something truly special in downtown Chelan.”

A time to explore and enjoy

Visitors are encouraged to spend the evening exploring downtown shops, restaurants, wineries, and local attractions while enjoying the festivities.

Whether you’re a lifelong car enthusiast, curious about lowrider culture, or simply looking for a fun evening in downtown Chelan, Cultura on the Lake offers something for everyone.
