The Chelan County Noxious Weed Control Board reminds people that its annual noxious weed survey is underway.
Noxious weed teams are working throughout the county to identify and eradicate noxious weeds. However, it’s up to private landowners to eradicate all Class A noxious weeds on their property and to stop the spread of all Class B and C noxious weeds.
For a list of the noxious weeds in our area, go to the board’s website.
If you wouldn’t know a Bohemian knotweed or hoary alyssum unless it walked up to you and introduced itself, the website links you to very handy photos and descriptions.
