Chelan County Community Development has been working with a consultant to update their Comprehensive Plan.

They’ve now reached the point where public meetings are planned for later this month.

The Comprehensive Plan is our 20-year guiding document for managing growth and shaping the county’s future through 2046. It outlines the vision, goals and policies that will help us address critical issues, from housing and transportation to economic development and public services.

Community meetings have been set for April at locations around the county, where you can share your thoughts and ask questions.

The meetings are:

  • April 20: 6 to 8 p.m. at Leavenworth Fire Hall, 228 Chumstick Highway.
  • April 21: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Lake Chelan Community Center, 103 Bighorn Way.
  • April 23: 6 to 8 p.m. at Mission View Elementary School, 60 Terminal Ave. in Wenatchee.
