The City of Chelan invites residents to attend the 2026 State of the City Town Hall, a community-focused event designed to connect residents with City leadership, partner agencies, and organizations that serve Chelan year-round.
The event will take place on Thursday, January 22, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Campbell’s Resort and will also be live-streamed on the City’s Public Meetings Portal at cityofchelan.gov/meetings.
The State of the City Town Hall offers an opportunity for residents to learn more about the City’s strategic priorities, hear what’s planned for 2026, and engage directly with City officials and community partners. The evening will feature updates on key initiatives, how long-term planning is shaping decisions, and opportunities for informal conversation before and after the program. In addition to City leadership, representatives from several public agencies and community partners will be on hand to meet with residents, answer questions, and share information about their services. Participating organizations include Chelan Fire & Rescue, Lake Chelan School District, North Central Washington Libraries, the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office, and other regional partners.
“This event is about connection and collaboration,” said Mayor Erin McCardle. “We want residents to understand where the City is headed, meet the people doing the work, and feel informed and engaged in the future of Chelan.”
Held in the heart of historic Downtown Chelan, residents are encouraged to make a night of it by inviting their neighbors and enjoying dinner at a downtown Chelan restaurant before or after the event, supporting local businesses while taking part in this community conversation.
To ensure accessibility for the entire community, the State of the City Town Hall will be presented in both English and Spanish, with live Spanish interpretation available throughout the event in person.
The event is free and open to the public, and all residents are encouraged to attend, tune in, listen, and participate in this important community conversation.
