Chelan Well Represented at Senior All-State Volleyball

Match to be played Sunday in Burlington

Emma McLaren pictured right and Leanna Garfoot pictured center, of the State 1A Champion Chelan Goats volleyball team will be playing this weekend in the Washington State Volleyball Coaches Association Senior 1A All-State contest. The match will be at 12:45 Sunday, December 8 at Burlington-Edison High School in Burlington.

In addition to the players, Chelan Head Coach Jenifer Rainville and her assistant Coach Javes Escalera have been selected to participate as coaches.  The Chelan volleyball team completed an outstanding season capped by their thrilling come from behind win over Kings in the State Title match last month in Yakima. McClaren was the Caribou Trail League Player of the Year, while Garfoot was also selected All CTL first team.
