First Responders Ski for Free through Mid-December

Information and photo from Mission Ridge

Mission Ridge Ski & Board Resort is excited to announce that opening day of the 2019/20 season is this Friday, November 29th. Nearly a foot of new snow Tuesday night and Wednesday morning combined with our extensive snowmaking infrastructure and world-class crew, have made a Thanksgiving weekend opening possible for the seventh time in eight years. We will be open Friday through Sunday from 9am-4pm with Chair 1 and the Pika Peak Rope Tow scheduled for operation. Additional chairlifts and terrain will open as conditions permit.

Current forecasts for Friday call for sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-twenties.

Lift ticket prices will be discounted to $45 for ages 25-69, $35 for ages 18-24, $25 for ages 10-17, $5 for ages 9 & under and $15 for ages 70+ to reflect the limited opening of chairlifts and terrain.

Firefighter and Emergency Personnel Appreciation: To say thank you for their service, Mission Ridge will be honoring Firefighters, EMTs, and Law Enforcement professionals by providing free skiing and riding from opening day through the third weekend in December. We welcome both active duty emergency responders and 2019 summer seasonal personnel to enjoy time on the mountain.
