Clean-up Scheduled for Saturday, April 8

information released

Volunteers are needed for a spring clean up organized by the Department of Fish and Wildlife Volunteer Program on Saturday, April 8. Several miles of trails need a spring cleaning, help to prune and clear vegetation along trails, viewpoints, and artwork, clear and stabilize rock steps, and remove weeds at the Beebe Springs Unit, Chelan Wildlife Area.

You don’t need to register in advance, just meet at the Beebe Springs parking lot at 8:00 a.m. Volunteers are welcome to arrive later, and leave whenever they need. Volunteers are welcome to bring their own tools: loppers, clippers, work gloves, etc

Be aware there is blackberry, and work pants may be advised. There will be multiple projects, and hopefully we can find something for everyone to do within their comfort level.

Gather at the main parking area at Beebe Springs Unit.
