Chelan Boys Bring Balanced Scoring Attack in 83-43 Win Over Cle Elum

Game Recap by Coach Pearl

Chelan opened their season Thursday night with a 83-43 victory over the visiting Cle Elum Warriors.  The Goats got out to a fast start using their defense to lead to easy transition buckets.  Chelan outscored their opponent 28-8 in the first quarter.

The Goat’s balanced scoring attack was lead by Junior Cade Christopherson’s 20pts.  Connor Wilson and Quinn Stamps each chipped in 16 points a piece.  Seniors Owen Oules and Sam Austin both netted 8 points each.

The Goats have a quick turnaround as they will face off with the Granger Spartans on the road this Saturday!

Coach Pearl said “I thought we had good energy to start the game.  Our guys battled hard tonight and really spread the ball around offensively.”

Pearl added, “It’s still very early in our season and we have a lot of things we need to work on, but our guys are happy to win their home opener.”
