The Chelan Cross Country team was represented by three individual runners at last Saturday’s 1A State Championship meet held at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco.
In the boy’s race, junior Chris Knight finished a very strong 21st out of 163 runners.
On the girl’s side, Chelan had two runners participate in the State meet with freshman Teagan Silva finishing 39th and sophomore Mereya Garibay right on her shoulder in 40th position.
Chelan Cross Country was coached by Mark Anderson, Heather Fox and Alberto Granados.
