Girls’ Soccer: Manson vs Lake Roosevelt

Manson soccer lost to Lake Roosevelt in a heartbreaker for the Lady Trojans.
At the end of regulation the score was tied 1-1. Both teams had their opportunities to score in the first half, the only difference was that Lake Roosevelt capitalized and scored to end the first half 1-0. The Lady Trojans came back in the second half to score and tie the game to end the game 1-1 on a breakaway goal from Nadia Verduzco.
After two five minutes overtime periods the score remained 1-1 so the game went to penalty kicks. In penalty kicks lake Roosevelt beat Manson 3-0.
