The Chelan Goats traveled to Warden last Friday night and lost 42-40 in a non-league matchup. The Goats were in it to the end, but came up just short. Two failed 4th quarter conversion attempts by Chelan helped seal the win for the home team. Chelan is now 1-1 on the season.
It was another outstanding outing for Senior quarterback Quinn Stamps who threw for 168 yards and 4 touchdowns….Stamps also led the Goats in rushing with 90 yards on the ground and 2 td’s.

Head Coach Travis Domser said “I was proud of our kids and the way they fought a battle all night. It was one of those games that came down to the wire and we were right there.  We made one more mistake than them and that’s on us as coaches. I’m excited to see how we bounce back this week!!!

The Goats play a non-conference game at home vs. South Whidbey on Friday, September 14th, 7 p.m.
