Free Clinic features All-American Player Abby Phelps

Kahiau Volleyball Club is proud to announce they are holding a FREE 3-day Youth Volleyball Clinic, featuring former Lady Goat and WWU Viking Abby Phelps.

The clinic is open to boys and girls in 1st through 5th grades. It will be held Wednesday through Friday, April 3 – 5, from 10 a.m. to noon at Chelan’s Community Gym. Registration opens at 9:30 a.m. on April 3rd.

Learning from a Strong Leader: Abby Phelps

Abby Phelps is a Chelan High School graduate who helped lead the Western Washington University Volleyball Team into back-to-back Great Northwest Athletic Conference Titles.

The Vikings completed a historic season last year as the Number 1 seed in the West Region and finished the year as NCAA II National Runner-Up.

On a personal level, Phelps capped her illustrious collegiate career includes earning back GNAC Player of the Year and AVCA First Team All-America honors.

She finished her four seasons at WWU with program and GNAC records in kills (1,628) and total points (1853.0) and became only the second player in GNAC history to be a four-time First Team All-GNAC selection.
