Here’s what’s happening this weekend at Winterfest

The Annual Lake Chelan Winterfest combines fire and ice, food and beverages, music and mayhem in a kaleidoscope of activities this weekend, through the week and into next weekend. Your button is the admission ticket to many of the events as well as the opportunity to take advantage of dozens of specials and discounts at restaurants and stores in Chelan and Manson.
Here’s a look at this weekend’s schedule:
Saturday, January 19th
- 10 am – 4 pm: Ice Carving Competition
- Noon – 6 pm: Wine Tent Open
- Noon – 6 pm: Grand Wine Walk Open
- Noon – 10 pm: Ice Bar Open
- Noon – 6 pm: Ice Slide
- Noon – 6 pm: Horse Carriage Rides
- Noon – 6 pm: Snowflake Lane (Kids Activities)
- 3 pm – 3:45 pm: Glenn Synder performs in the Ice Bar
- 4 pm – 4:45 pm: Kevin Jones Band performs in the Ice Bar
- 4 pm – 6 pm: Ice Carving Voting
- 5 pm – 5:45 pm: Jim Basnight performs in the Ice Bar
- 6 pm – 8 pm: Snowga
- 6:30 pm: Polar Bear Splash & Beach Bonfire at Don Morse Park
- 6:45 pm: Fireworks
- 7 pm – 10 pm: Radio 80 perform in the Ice Bar
- 9:30 pm – 11 pm: Comedy at Campbells with Gabrial Rutledge
Sunday, January 20th
- 11 am – 1 pm: Bubble Bar
- 11 am – 3 pm: Cocoa Crawl
- Noon: First Annual Winterfest Games
The fun continues with Winterfest shopping specials and other activities throughout the week. On Friday the festivities move to Manson for another full weekend of fun.
