Heroes Nominations open through August 14 for September Gala
information released
The Wellness Place will present their first-ever NCW Cancer Heroes, a red-carpet event honoring the resilience and compassion of the North Central Washington cancer community on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the Wenatchee Convention Center. This elegant evening will showcase the Cancer Warriors, Survivors, Caregivers, Healthcare Providers, and Champions who inspire hope and strength in the face of cancer, thanks to presenting sponsors Confluence Health and Wenatchee Valley Medical Group.
Guests will enjoy a red-carpet welcome, dinner and drinks, an inspiring awards ceremony, live performances, and an after-party with dancing. NCW Cancer Heroes is an evening of connection, remembrance, and support – raising critical funds for Wellness Place’s free programs that individuals and families in our region depend on to navigate a cancer diagnosis.
“This event is a tribute to the extraordinary individuals whose lives have been shaped by cancer – those who have bravely faced a diagnosis themselves, and those who have stood beside them with unwavering support,” said Marissa Collins, Executive Director of Wellness Place. “From patients and survivors to caregivers, providers, family, and friends, each one plays a vital role in the cancer journey. We’re honored to create a space where their stories are seen, shared, and celebrated – and we invite the community to join us in lifting them up.”
Tickets and table reservations are on sale now. Early bird pricing is available through June 30.
Nominations are open now through August 14 for the 2025 NCW Cancer Heroes at bit.ly/nominate-ncwch-2025. Every nominee will be honored!
