Sign up for a 2-hour session on Saturday, March 23 to help pack meals

information released

Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a world-wide non-profit organization that provides packaged meals for those in need. Thirty cents provides one meal for a starving child.

The Lake Chelan community has supported FMSC with a mobile pack over the past several years. This year RealLife is sponsoring a mobile pack on Saturday, March 23rd at the Community Gym in Chelan. RealLife has raised most of the money to support this mobile pack.

The FMSC comes with all the supplies for the mobile pack. The goal is to pack over 100,000 meals. What we need is about 500 volunteers for the mobile pack.

On Saturday, March 23rd there will be three (3) 2-hour sessions (9-11 am, 12-2 pm, and 3-5 pm) where groups of volunteers will pack meals at the Community Gym. It is really an easy fun process.

Pictured is a ‘save the date card’ with a QR code. If you are interested in the non-profit organization and would like to sign up to help, you can scan the code and go to the volunteer link. Select Washington State, click on Chelan and enter your information.
