Virtual NCW Career Fair Scheduled for Wednesday

Spring event was canceled – now will be hosted in a virtual capacity

Organizers for the career fair offered for NCW high school seniors and adults indicate the spring event was canceled, but will proceed this week in a different format.  Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Okanogan and Adams County job seekers are encouraged to participate in the virtual career fair on Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Advance registration is required.

The virtual career fair is hosted by Washington State Employment Security Department, WorkSource Washington, SkillSource, North Central Educational Service District, Port of Moses Lake, Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce, Grant County Economic Development Council, Apple STEM Network and Career Connect.

“All of these agencies goals are to assistant people with their education and career pathways,” said Kristi O’Neill, WorkSource Okanogan. “So we’re really just trying to offer opportunities for folks to continue to pursue their dreams and their goals in this unprecedented time.”
