Estate Malbec and Estate Syrah win top awards in three major California based wine competitions

Tsillan Cellars estate grown wines continue to bring attention to and showcase the ability of Lake Chelan grown grapes to compete with the best in the world. The 2017 Tsillan Cellars Estate Malbec and Estate Syrah completed a perfect trifecta of winning top awards in all three major California based wine competitions in December and January.
In December, the 2017 Tsillan Cellars Estate Reserve Malbec was awarded Double Gold (awarded only when all judges concur that a wine is worthy of a gold medal) and 94 Points in the San Francisco International Wine Competition, the largest International competition in the United States.
The 2017 Estate Reserve Malbec made a clean sweep at another prestigious California competition, the Grand Harvest Challenge. The 2017 Estate Reserve Malbec won Best of Class, Best Columbia Valley Wine, Double Gold and an astounding 97 Points.
To complete the Trifecta in January, the 2017 Estate Reserve Malbec won Double Gold in the prestigious San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, the largest competition of American wines. A perfect Double Gold trifecta in the country’s most prestigious wine competitions.
