Expect lane closures and flagger-controlled traffic

A Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crew will provide traffic control for the removal of hazard trees adjacent to the road on State Route 971 the first week of June.
Work is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily and will require lane closures and flagger-controlled traffic between milepost 7 and 10 near the Lake Chelan State Park beginning Monday, June 3. Travelers should plan on delays up to 20 minutes during working hours. This project is expected to take two days, but may take up to 4 working days, depending on conditions.
