Bridge paving east of Leavenworth to begin Tuesday

Paving work on US 2 east of Leavenworth continues with bridge paving beginning the morning of Tuesday, Aug.1.
Work will begin on the bridge at US 2 milepost 101 just east of Leavenworth at 4 a.m. on Tuesday. Work will require 24 hour flagger controlled traffic with delays of 20 minutes or more during peak traffic times. The bridge paving is scheduled to wrap up by Thursday, Aug. 3.
Travelers on US 2 between Leavenworth and Cashmere are encouraged to add additional time to their trip this week and reminded to remain alert and travel slowly through work zones. Updates will be shared on the WSDOT real time travel map and on Twitter at @WSDOT_East.
