The Lake Chelan Valley has once again produced two of the top volleyball programs in the state of Washington. Manson and Chelan are sending their highly-rated volleyball teams to Yakima to participate in their respective state tournaments at the Sundome beginning on Wednesday.
Manson Trojans
The undefeated Manson Trojans begin play at 9:45 Wednesday taking on the Kalama Chinooks in the 2-B tourney.
Manson comes in as the number two overall seed in the 2-B tourney and has hopes of improving on their third place state finishes of the past two years. The Trojans are a strong and experienced squad and definitely a threat to win it all.
Manson will play twice on Wednesday and the tourney will wrap up with the trophy round on Thursday.

The Chelan Goats, who are three time defending 1-A state champions, will begin their tourney play on Friday in Yakima and as the top seeded team.
The Goats will face #16 seed Montesano at 10:45 Friday morning at the Sundome.
Chelan brings to state a much younger team than in the past few years, but they are still considered the favorite as they seek a fourth consecutive title.
