Fireworks over Manson Bay on July 4th and from Don Morse Park in Chelan on July 5th

Locals and visitors alike will once again be treated to two quality Lake Chelan Valley fireworks shows in celebration of the 4th of July.

The community of Manson is gearing up for the “big show” when the 46th Annual Fourth of July Fireworks display, one of the largest in Eastern Washington, takes place over Manson Bay on Lake Chelan on Friday, July 4th. This event is a wonderful experience for the entire family and will create some great memories.

In Manson, on Friday, July 4th

Manson’s Fireworks Show starts at 10:15 pm on July 4th. The fireworks are staged from a barge anchored in Manson Bay so viewers can enjoy the show from the beach, from town, or from the water in your own boat or the Lady of the Lake.

Come early and make a day of it. Visit our local shops brimming with delightful items, and quench those hunger pangs and thirst at one of our many restaurants, pubs and wineries. Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit and cool down in the Manson Bay swim area.

The pre-fireworks show starts off with music in Manson Bay Park by one of our favorite local groups, The LakeBoys featuring Greg Kennedy and Arthur Dunn starting at 7:00 pm. They will play right up to the first rocket is sent into the air.

In Chelan, on Saturday, July 5th

24-hours later, the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce will present Chelan’s Rockin “5th” of July fireworks show starting at dark (about 10 p.m.) Saturday night July 5th. The fireworks will be set off from a barge anchored off Don Morse Park.

The public can view the display from a number of vantage points including Don Morse Park, Lakeside Park, the old bridge or from the water in a boat. Watercraft operators are advised to stay clear of the fireworks barge.

Residents and visitors are advised that Chelan County is fireworks free — with a year-around ban on personal fireworks in both unincorporated areas and incorporated cities like Cashmere, Wenatchee, and Leavenworth. This ban is in place due to the high wildfire risk in the area

If you’d like to watch the fireworks show from the water, but don’t have a boat public fireworks cruises are being offered by the Lady of the Lake for both shows.
