Watch for slick and slushy roadways

Prepare for slick and slushy roadways over some mountain passes between Sunday and Monday.
Precipitation for the Cascades will begin as snow at Washington Pass and rain at Stevens Pass with snow levels above 4500 feet on Sunday. Rain will transition to snow over Stevens Pass Sunday night as snow levels drop to near 4000 feet.
Lookout Pass will see mostly rain until early Monday morning then periods of a rain snow mix through Monday night. Prepare for winter travel conditions especially if you have plans to travel over the North Cascades.
