Winter weather advisory in effect until Thursday morning

According to the National Weather Service, the next winter storm will arrive early Wednesday morning for the Cascades and Cascade valleys bringing accumulating snow during the Wednesday morning commute.

A winter weather advisory has been issued and remains in effect until early Thursday morning for accumulations of snow in the Lake Chelan Valley of 3-4 inches and between 4 and 8 inches in the upper elevations including Holden Village and Stevens Pass.


Travel could be difficult with winter driving conditions. Slow down and use caution when traveling.

Warmer weather is expected this weekend which could lead to rapid snow melt and flooding.
