Up to 2 feet of snow could hit Stevens Pass
information released
After a brief snowstorm moved through the mountains last night, the National Weather Service anticipates a second, heavier round of snow in upper elevations through Saturday morning.
Stevens Pass looks to see the most snow, with up to 2 feet of snow possible for this second round of snow. Lookout Pass could see up to a foot of snow.
Travelers are encouraged to take winter storm precautionary and preparedness actions. Slow down and use caution; keep a flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of emergency.
