Residents and Visitors are invited to help kick off the holiday festivities in the Lake Chelan Valley on Friday November 24th, starting bright and early with “Plaid Friday!”
Plaid Friday is an alternative to Black Friday; Plaid Friday encourages people to do their holiday shopping with locally owned and independent businesses. We encourage everyone to wear plaid this day to show your support, and you’ll even see many of our businesses wearing branded Small Town Holiday plaid! As you are shopping and wandering throughout the Lake Chelan Valley, you will find festive decorations, lights, and activities for everyone!
Families and friends gather around for the Christmas Tree Lighting (at the corner of Woodin and Emerson in downtown Chelan) at 6:00 pm, singing carols, and welcoming Santa to town!
At 6:30 p.m. head over to a viewing area, or Don Morse Park for a celebratory firework show, or catch a ride on the Lady of the Lake for prime viewing!
Restaurant Week in Historic Downtown Chelan also starts on Friday!
From November 24 – December 1st, you can explore our local food scene, through curated 3-course dinner menus (dine-in only) with prices at $35 or $45. Check out additional wine pairings and cocktail specials while you dine at your favorite place, or try somewhere new!
