Non-profit organizations and community groups invited to apply for creative workspace

information released

The Sleeping Lady Foundation (SLF) is requesting proposals from non-profit organizations and community groups interested in sharing creative workspace in their professional building located at 32 N Mission St., Wenatchee, WA.

The SLF is a private foundation based in Leavenworth, WA, and owner of the KOHO Radio Building, and the new home to Northwest Public Broadcasting in the Wenatchee Valley.

Intent

SLF’s intention is to support organizations within the arts or with an environmental or community -centered mission. We seek to establish a creative, collaborative workplace where organizations can work independently on their organizations’ mission, as well as creatively collaborate with co-tenants. The anchor tenant is Northwest Public Broadcasting and KOHO Radio. Uniquely designed with a shard production studio, private and semi-private office spaces as well as beautiful common areas, the KOHO building lends itself to meet the foundation’s goal of building a community-based arts/environmental consortium.

Eligibility

Available to organizations who are seeking a collaborative experience to expand and enhance their arts, environmental or community based, purpose driven goals. Selected tenants will work in this complimentary space with their co-tenants utilizing each other’s resources and networks to create a heightened experience or project for the region.
