Senior Men’s Golf Club Reports Weekly Scores

Guests are welcome to Join the Senior Men’s Play on Wednesdays and Men’s Play on Sundays

The Senior Men’s Golf Club Members teed off at Lake Chelan Golf Course in beautiful weather on Wednesday, June 26^th.  Thirty-Three Members started play at 8:30 AM using a shotgun start.

The big news of the day was Phil Clausen scored a Hole-in-One on Hole #18.  Phil’s achievement will be celebrated by Club Members on July 3^rd after regular Club Play.

Tony Montoya reported he made a joint Senior Men’s Golf Club and Men’s Golf Club announcement on KOZI Radio’s 2^nd Cup of Coffee Program.  Tony invited Guests and Prospective New Members to join the Senior Men’s Play on Wednesdays and Men’s Club Play on Sundays at the Lake Chelan Golf Course.

The results of the Game Competitions from June 26^th are as follow:

For the Odd Holes Less Half Your Handicap competition, the winners were Scott Patrick (1^st Place – Score 35), Lyle Burns (2^nd Place Tie), Phil Clausen (2^nd Place Tie), and Gary Searle (3^rd Place).  For the Low Net Score competition, the winners were Ed Ferguson (1^st Place – Score 68), Mike Giffin (2^nd Place), and John (Mr. VP) Hancock and Stefan Dobratz (Third Place Tie).  The Chip Ins contest winners were Mike Storey and Darrell Simpson with one chip in each.  The Closest to the Pin on Hole #2 contest, was won by Dan Dedo with a distance of 6’ 6”.  The Mega Par 3 Closest to the Pin weekly game winners were Cliff House (Distance 14’ 1”), Dr. Darrell Richards (Distance 22’ ½”) and Bob Matson (Distance 29’ 7”).
