DePaoli Recognized by NCESD and WASA

Recently, the North Central Educational Service District (NCESD) and Washington Association of School Administrators (WASA) recognized student leaders, educators, and community members for their extraordinary contribution to K-12 education at a ceremony in Ohme Gardens in Wenatchee.
Among the recipients was Barry DePaoli, Lake Chelan School District Superintendent. Barry was presented with the Award of Merit. This special award is given to individuals who have demonstrated effective leadership at the regional level and have made a significant contribution to WASA through their work in the field of education. Barry was the 2020-2021 Regional President for the Superintendents in the NCESD.
“Our North Central Washington Region is blessed to have some incredible individuals who lead with heart and passion to serve others.”, said Dr. Michelle Price, NCESD Superintendent.
Barry DePaoli has served the Lake Chelan School District for the past 21 years; 16 years as a principal at both the middle and high school levels, then the past 5 years as Superintendent.
