Cleanup work north of Entiat will require lane closures and traffic control on US 97A near Knapps Hill Tunnel Tuesday.
A crew with the Washington State Department of Transportation is cleaning loose rock out of the catch basins and clearing the ditch line between milepost 224 and 225 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., Tuesday only. This will require a single lane closure with the use of an automated flagger assistance device. Travelers between Chelan and Entiat can expect delays up to 20 minutes during working hours. Those traveling between Chelan and Wenatchee can use US 97 on the east side of the Columbia River to avoid these delays or detour through Navarre Coulee.
Updates will be shared on the travel alert page, and on Twitter @WSDOT_East.
