Earlier this week, State Representative Mike Steele cut the ribbon to celebrate the completion of Chelan Valley Housing Trust’s two new homes, located on Iowa St. in south Chelan.
Scheduled for occupancy this December, the three-bedroom homes were sold to two local families for $330,000 each. The new homeowners are schoolteachers and retail workers in the Chelan and Manson area.
K&L Construction, the general contractor for the project, received special acknowledgement during the ceremony for their extraordinary donations to the project, professionalism, and dedication to our area’s affordable housing.
The project was also made possible by support from Rep. Mike Steele, the City of Chelan, Chelan County, North Cascades Bank, Karen Feek, Guy Evans, Coldwell Banker and Campbell’s Resort.
