Help support local restaurants with this matching grant program
Information released by the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce
The Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the Restaurant Rally, starting Monday, December 7 and running through February 28, 2021.
Diners simply dine at (outside), or order takeout from, any full service or limited service local restaurants and the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce will match your receipt before tax and excluding alcohol.
Modeled after the successful Pierce County Restaurant Rally, The Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce has allocated $150,000 to help the recovery of the beleaguered local restaurant industry.
Matching funds will be prioritized for full-service restaurants who are currently operating and doing so within Washington’s Safe Start guidelines.
“The Restaurant Rally is a way our community can all work to together to help one another. Our friends and neighbors need us. This combined effort of organizations that support our local businesses, the community that rallies behind them and the people who are employed by them,” said Mike Steele, Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce Executive Director.
“The Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce and all of our partners are doing everything we can to support all industries in our valley. This is one more way we can show up for our members and local businesses.”
