Grad Night Party could have ended in tragedy

Information narrated by Bev Kady and shared by Chelan High School

While we are on the subject of Chelan heroes, let me share what three CHS grads did Friday night (June 14) that saved my nephew’s life.

My nephew has struggled with epilepsy since childhood. They have tried many things including an implant near his brain to lessen seizure activity with limited success.

Well, Friday night he was having an amazing time at the water slides around 3:00 a.m. (grad night party). He began having a grand mal seizure on one of the slides.  He ended up under the water at the bottom of the pool.

Thankfully Quinn Stamps, Caden Bryant and Skyler Gordon saw him and quickly pulled him up out of the water to safety.  There was also a life guard that assisted after he was out. Thanks to their quick response he suffered no serious injury.

We are so lucky to have so many heroes in our town!

Thank you Quinn, Caden and Skyler!!!
