Stehekin Landing Construction Underway – Watch the progress on the Stehekin WebCam
There is no public parking available at the Stehekin boat landing from today through June 9th, including parking spaces in front of the marina, in front of the lodge, and the ferry dock. Public parking is still available in front of the Post office and other locations along the lake side of the road.
Crews will begin this morning with chip-sealing work at the landing and proceed up-valley, with pavement repairs and chip sealing as they go. A pilot car will be in use to move traffic through the construction areas during work hours, which are generally Monday through Saturday, 7 am – 7 pm.
The NPS encourages travelers to limit their access to the landing area during construction, but emphasizes the landing will be open to vehicles during ferry boat times.

- There will be no delay to Stehekin Valley Shuttle & Rainbow Falls Tour Shuttles (red buses), and other traffic traveling on the shuttle buses schedule.
- No delay to Stehekin Valley Shuttle & Rainbow Falls Tour Shuttle (Red Buses) and other traffic traveling on the shuttle buses schedule.
- No delay to Stehekin Valley Ranch Shuttle (White Bus) and other traffic traveling on the shuttle bus schedule.
- During full closure it may take a few minutes to clear bus traffic depending on which end you are approaching the work area from, please be patient while this is happening.
- Maximum of 30 minute delay to traffic between Stehekin Valley Shuttle passages (EXCEPT during chip seal treatment)
- Bike and foot traffic will be allowed to pass through work areas only if the construction activities allow for safe passage.
