Save the Date: October 3. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Lake Chelan Health Guild B is proud to present “Paint the Town Pink” luncheon fundraiser. A delightful luncheon will be held at Sorrento’s Ristorante, starting at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, October 3rd. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce or online at lakechelanhealth.org
Additional fundraising opportunities during the luncheon include a $25 Wine Pull and a Dessert Dash featuring lots of delicious desserts. All proceeds from this event will go to the Lake Chelan Health hospital for the purchase of a VELA Mammography Chair.
About the VELA Mammography Chair:
The VELA Mammography Chair is optimal for patients who need to sit down during examinations, e.g. women prone to fainting, wheelchair users or patients with diseases affecting the musculoskeletal system. Currently, the radiology department is using a standard office chair for patients that cannot stand for the procedure. The approximate cost for the VELA Mammography Chair is $6,000.
