Congratulations to Firefighters Poirier and Goettling

Orondo Firefighters Scott Poirier and Jonathan Goettling completed firefighting school consisting of intensive training on structure fire operations, both classroom and practical, including live fire. Firefighter Goettling is based out of the DCFD4 Orondo Main Station with Poirier based out of the DCFD4 Brays Landing Station. The firefighting school was conducted in conjunction with Chelan County Fire District 1 in Wenatchee, training firefighters throughout the region.
Both took the firefighter oath and were presented with the Department Badge Wednesday night. The Orondo Fire Department is looking forward to having these newly trained firefighters using their skills on emergencies in Orondo and throughout the region.
