Traffic Advisory Construction Alert!

The old bridge will be closed on Wednesday, May 22, from 7:00 a.m. through approximately 4:00 p.m. for a bridge railing pour.
Drivers should be aware that potential traffic delays may also be experienced on Wednesday when crossing the Dan Gordon Bridge (new bridge) while crews complete work on a sewer line which necessitates alternately closing one lane or reconfiguring lanes.
Other Old Bridge Project Activities planned for May 21 – 25
- Repair sidewalks where needed
- Install topsoil and landscaping, including plants and rock
- Install traffic signs
- Activities planned for May 28 – 31
- Install Landing Park hand railing
- Seal pavers in driveways and crossings
- Apply pavement markings
- Bridge repairs as needed
- Apply pigmented sealer to bridge railings
One side of the bridge will remain open for pedestrians at all times. This look ahead reflects what the contractor currently anticipates. Weather and other circumstances can change construction crew activities.
