Experienced manager and outreach specialist joins NCWEA

North Central Washington Equity Alliance (NCWEA) Board of Directors has hired Juan David Daza Diaz as the next executive director for the organization. Diaz brings more than 25 years of management experience to his position.
Originally from Colombia, South America, Diaz has been in the Wenatchee Valley for more than two years. His career includes business management, customer service, outreach, marketing and sales management as well as public relations.
“Juan David stood out to the interview team for his ease of conversation and engagement,” said NCWEA Board President, Edgar Salamanca. “He is inviting and connects well with people when discussing difficult issues. He will represent the Equity Alliance well.”
Diaz will be representing the Equity Alliance in partnership with the City of Wenatchee and the Wenatchee Museum and Cultural Center to bring the annual Martin Luther King Day events.
Also, he will be coordinating and managing the Alliance’s annual Learning to People Better Together, the popular workforce diversity training program available to businesses and organizations throughout a three-county region (Chelan, Douglas and Okanogan).
