Closure is from 9 p.m. June 30 to 6 a.m. July 1st
Information released by Chelan County Public Works
Motorists are asked to remove all vehicles from the road in downtown Manson the evening of Wednesday, June 30, so a Chelan County Public Works crew can paint parking stalls and crosswalks.
No overnight parking will be allowed 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. on June 30 on Wapato Way/Manson Boulevard, from Wapato Point Parkway to Wapato Way. The work is being done overnight, when traffic is least impacted.
Motorists traveling through the downtown should reduce their speeds and watch for the working crew. Roadway paint is designed to dry very quickly – 30 to 90 seconds. However, motorists should never drive over the wet lines. Doing so not only smears and ruins the safety lines, but the quick-drying paint also may get on the vehicle.
